Message from Pastor Paul Rodriguez, Director of Missions

Well, it's been awhile since I have communicated with our visitors. Haiti is behind us, all of our folks from our association are back home safe, new ones are back helping where they can. My wife was part of the team that went to The Dominican Republic to prepare the place where the children would be staying. It was good to see her come home. God, as He always does used this incident for His Glory. I don't believe that I have ever learned in my 40 + plus years as a Christian, a time when the our nation came together to pray as it did in those days. So I praise His name.

Moving on to other things. It is my personal believe that our world (America) is suffering terribly.And  I don't believe we are doing enough of what God expects us to do to make a difference.  I believe that we are reaping what we have sowed. Do we even realized that over 50 million babies have been killed in abortions since 1973. We are often critical of the 30 some million precious Jews that were killed during the Hitler era and yet  here we are, in America guilty of the death of these many innocent children.

In the early life of the church it was said of the christians  that they went about turning the world up side down. When was the last time we were accused of turning the world up side down with the Gospel? I like to think that when Paul visited the different cities of his time, that first thing he wanted to know was what kind of jails they had. Because he knew he would probably end up in one of them before the day was over.

Folks we are in need of a great spiritual awakening. Will it start with me? Will it start with you? Let's seek His face in much prayer that ask Him to use us.
